Comments: Most of you by now are probably aware of the recent passing of long time knife maker Corbit Sigman. He was a master of both fixed blades and folders, and was one of the first knife makers to produce a finish that looked as if it could not be bettered. Most famous for his unique collector-grade fixed blades, he turned to folders late in his career, and as predicted, became a master of that genre as well.
Sigman folders from the final period of his career have flawless fit and finish as well as their own special walk and talk. And this frame shape, which we call the Tulip, is one of his most recognizable and most attractive designs. The knife was flawlessly engraved by Master Julie Warenski, which nicely compliments the presentation grade Mother-of-Pearl
Corbit did not make a large number of folders, but as with his fixed blades there was a waiting list for delivery that was measured in years. These unique pieces rarely come to market, especially when decorated by a top notch engraver such as Julie Warenksi. Don't miss this chance to own a special knife by a great master who is no longer with us.
