Comments: This futuristic new folder is the brain child of highly regarded Italian knife maker Bruno Graciut A knife maker since the age of 15, Bruno has over 46 years of knife making experience and has been a member of the Corporazione Italiana Coltellinai (Italian Knifemakers Guild) since 2001.
He first teacher was his father, an accomplished craftsman, and one of the things Bruno enjoys most about the the knife making community is the opportunity to exchange ideas and techniques with makers and collectors from all over the world.
Bruno is always experimenting with new shapes and materials, which is why it is hard to describe the typical Graciut knife. Very fond of exotic steels and unusual handle materials, each knife is a symphony of natural and synthetic components combined in a way that always pleases the eye but is full of unexpected surprises.
Everywhere you look there are interesting details that we have not seen in more than 34 years of looking at hand made knives!
Currently he does not attend any shows in America.
This particular model is a space age liner-lock with with deeply hollow-ground blade and Carbon Fiber Bolsters. The scales are of hand-made wood parquet dyed in several contrasting colors then laminated to a solid base.
Impossible to find but easy to love! Try one and you won't be disappointed!
